Right Care, Right Person position statement - March 2024

Right Care Right Person (RCRP) is a national initiative led by the National Police Chiefs' Council to ensure people in need are receiving the right care, from the agency with the most appropriate skills.

In our position statement, we aim to offer transparency about the IOPC’s stance on RCRP and provide clarity on how Professional Standards Departments should apply the mandatory death and serious injury referral criteria for incidents involving RCRP.
